Transfer Week and train stations

This is my friend Jasmine.  She is from Iran and is interested
in learning more about Jesus Christ.  We sat together in
Relief Society on Sunday and I helped her download the
Gospel Library App.  She and her friend, Hossein, have met with
Elder Erickson and Elder Jones for some of the lessons
and have a baptism date set for November 8.

These are our office missionaries.  The picture was taken in the kitchen
of the Mission Offices located at Zerbster Strasse 42 in Berlin, Germany.
Elder and Sister Stout have completed their 18 months and headed home
this week.
Elder Stout, Elder Christensen, Sister Christensen, Sister Stout, Sister Jensen,
Sister Stephens, Elder Stephens, and Elder Jensen (in back)

We had three new sister missionaries arrive this week.
Sister Heidenreich, Sister Eardley, and Sister Williams
We did some orientation and training at the Mission Presidents
home before taking them to the train station.

Sister Eardley's joy when she learned who her trainer would be.
Her trainer is Sister Heslop-serving in Potsdam.

Sister Williams excitement - her trainer is Sister Pauga
and her area is Leipzig.

Sister Heidenreich was so happy!  Her first area is
Freiberg and her trainer is Sister Cluff!

Getting new missionaries into the mission is exciting.  It is hard
to see the departing missionaries leave after their 18 months - 24 months.
Sister Stephens with Sister Hollenbach, Sister Earl, and Sister Morley.
These are the three sisters who left this week.

Sister Stephens with Elder Heaton and Elder Vehar who
completed their mission.

The "departers" dinner at the Stake Center in Berlin.

Elder Stephens and I took Sister Hollenbach from the
train station back to an apartment near the mission offices
on Thursday night.  Her train home left at noon on Friday.
She is from Western Germany and took a "fast train" home.
It took her 4 hours to get home on the train.

Our Mission Motto....(or it should be)

This is my friend, Naima.  I ran into her at the Church where
she came for Institute.  She is a newer member-baptized a
month ago.  We have a fantastic Institute where often 90 young
adults attend.

We had 45 minutes after our lesson with Elder Erickson and
Elder Jones this afternoon to walk to a Mexican Restaurant near
Tiergarten.  It was very tasty.  I got a HUGE burrito and Elder Stephens
got a salad...no surprise there.

This is one map of one of the train stations....
